SPRING HAS SPRUNG!

At least I certainly hope so! May has arrived with moderate temperatures and not one mention of snow in the forecast. Hurray!

The ONLINE NEEDLEWORK SHOW (April 16-21) was reported to be a great event by those of you that participated. The orders have started arriving, so I hope to have your individual orders completed by May 12th.

The SHOWCASE OF NEEDLEARTS (April 17-20), sponsored by the Cedar Valley Chapter of the Embroiders Guild, was spectacular! I hope you take the opportunity to attend such a show in your area. They are nothing short of inspiring.

STITCH N' PITCH brings together two timeless traditions — Baseball and the NeedleArts. Come to a ball game and knit, crochet, embroider, cross-stitch, needlepoint ... whatever! Sit among friends, family and colleagues and cheer on your favorite team.

Not near Cedar Rapids? Check the ballpark in your area to see when their event is scheduled. Major Leagues have them and, starting this year, other minor league teams are following the Cedar Rapids Kernels in offering such events.
