Beginning Knitting
Leader: Joan Ackerman

When: Monday 10am-noon every other week for 4 sessions beginning March 18

Cost: $45.00
Skill Level - No prior skills needed

Learn the basics of knitting during a 4-session course, starting with how to cast onto your needle and ending with starting a project of your own choice. Learn about the different yarns and which is recommended for a variety of projects. Also you will be introduced to a variety of knitting tools and how they work. The instructor will guide you through the selection of your first knitting needles and yarns. Yarns and needles are provided for the first session.



Open Stitching/Knitting
Leader: Staff

When: Thursday March 14, 6-8pm

Cost: No charge for group, bring your own project

Skill Level: All


Crochet Club
Leader: Staff

When: Monthly on 1st and 3rd Mondays, 6-8pm

Cost: none

We are adding an additional night for this group which is for all skill levels. Bring your crochet project for open crocheting. Share your experiences and learn from each other. There is no cost to attend.

Weekly Open Knitting - Wednesdays
Leader: Staff

When: Wednesday 10 am - noon

Cost: none

Bring a friend and a knitting project and join us for a fun time. Share your experiences and projects and learn from each other. This is a fun time where you can work on your project and socialize with other knitters. This is for all skill levels and there is no cost to attend.

We will practice our beginning stitches by creating 2 potholders and a dishcloth. Learn about the different yarns and which is recommended for a variety of projects. Also you will be introduced to a variety of crochet tools and how they work. The instructor will guide you through the selection of your first crochet hook and yarns.



Open Beading Group
Leader: Staff

When: Monthly on 2nd & 4th Monday, 6-8pm

Cost: none

Bring your beading project or start a new project for open beading. Share your experiences and learn from each other. There is no cost to attend and is for all skill levels

Beaded Scarf
Leader: Joan Ackerman

When: Thursday, March 28 6-8pm
Cost: $20.00 plus supplies
Skill Level: Advanced knitting

Choose from a variety of yarns and beads to create a scarf for yourself or to give as a gift. Learn how to pre-string the beads onto the yarn and how to join two individually stitched pieces to complete the project.



Crochet Club

When: Monthly on 1st and 3rd Mondays, 6-8pm
