Beginning Crochet
Leader: Joan Ackerman
When: Tuesdays 6-8 pm or 1-3pm beginning April 24 for 6 weeks
Cost: $60(plus cost of supplies)
Learn the basics of crochet during a 6-week course, starting with how to make a chain and ending with starting a project of your own choice. We will practice our beginning stitches by creating 2 potholders and a dishcloth. Learn about the different yarns and which is recommended for a variety of projects. Also you will be introduced to a variety of crochet tools and how they work. The instructor will guide you through the selection of your first crochet hook and yarns.

Crochet Afghan

Each square of this afghan is using a different combination of stitches. This class meets once a month. Class size is limited, so sign up early.

Knitted Socks

Thursdays 1-3pm or 6:00-8pm for 4 weeks beginning April 26
Cost: $45 (plus supplies)
Skill Level: Intermediate
Learn to knit you own socks from toe-up, using one circular knitting needle. Make gifts for family and friends. Pre-registration is required and this class fills up very quickly, so register early.

Beginning Knitting

Skill Level - No prior skills needed
Learn the basics of knitting during a 6-week course, starting with how to cast onto your needle and ending with starting a project of your own choice. Learn about the different yarns and which is recommended for a variety of projects. Also you will be introduced to a variety of knitting tools and how they work. The instructor will guide you through the selection of your first knitting needles and yarns. Yarns and needles are provided for the first session.

Open Stitching - Wednesdays

Due to popular request we are setting a regular weekly open stitching time. You are still free to come anytime and stitch.
Wednesdays 1-3 and 6-8
Bring a stitching project and join us for a fun time. Invite a friend and double the fun. Share your experiences and projects and learn from each other. This is a fun time where you can work on your project and socialize with other stitcher. This is for all skill levels and there is no cost to attend.

This is a year-round group which is for new and existing group members. Bring your canvas project or purchase a new project to work on. Not sure if you want to join this group, stop in to see what everyone is working on. There is no cost to attend or be a part of this group. This year Needle Delights was chosen as the designer. Many designs are available from beginner to experienced levels.
